Blu Redux:

Been meaning to post the room I stayed in at the Radisson Blu in Edinburgh but have forgotten to do so.

For £250 per night, this spacious sleeping quarters for transient sentient beings housed all 4 of us traveling. That translates to £62.50 per night for each of us confederates while we imbibed and inhaled the city and the chilly air of cosmo Edinburgh.

2 double beds, a queen bed, soft clean sheets, a knock out bathroom, a sweet Spanish hotel worker who had no idea how to work this ultra sophisticated coffee maker (like us) available in the room and 5 sets of giggles in 3 different languages because of this mishap. Priceless!

I do recommend it!

Inspiration Station: Bedroom 2

This design is brought to you by Mr Waller of New South Wales. The only components I see in this bedroom so far are as follows: bed, vaulted ceiling, chair, bedside table, shelves, books, books and more books! Pretty easy don't you think?

One of the factors that inspire me in design is it's feasibility for me personally, hence, most of the photos I share which I deem as inspiring are minimalist, rustic and simple with practical focal points. Why? because it just doesn't make sense to look and aspire for something that remains in fantasy land.

... and this bedroom meets all my requirements as inspiration.

Inspiration Station: Bedroom one

photo from Desire to Inspire

Possibility: affirmative.

Of course I would have to adjust it to the scale of things that I have and where I am. But think about this, on the port side - all my books and hodgepodge-ries! A tall ceiling white floors, all white interior for a roomier feel and to ruminate (is there a pun here?) white sheets and a White Asian lantern ball to tie it all up.

What about the starboard side? Bathroom, vanity, workstation the wardrobe!

I am already there (well not really but you know what I mean yeh?)

Cool Doable Headboard

Easy, functional, classic, sleek, modern and doable - this Bieke Claessens design gives me an idea for a headboard and isn't that light fixture just innovational? honest it's a word... in thesaurus.com
