Spring-ing is it?

photo from tumbler

Berries and peonies...

This is perhaps my first spring away from the US in about 20 years, yes, I won't miss the pollen and oak allergies, but I will miss the berries, blooms, colors, the new bustle of life from the dead of winter.  However, I make the most of what I have so, check this link out (S'il vous plait?): LINK

The Ambigious Winter and Spring...

Good gravy! Can climate just make up it's mind? I am at the cusp of nursing one entity named "common cold" and I blame it on the weather being as ambiguous as Eddie Izzard while doing a stand up.

This past winter was predominantly warm and because of that, it had to make it's statement when frigidity isn't expected in the spring, the shawls and scarves get neglected then bam! No protection from the freezing temps and subsequently, one gets the colds as the immune system plummets.

What comes next?... irritability, a drippy nose, sore joints, blah, blah and blah until the visit from the cold decides it's time to go.

Can't you tell? Oh crud!

It must be Springing...

A brief photography pit stop: Went to the Botanical Gardens located a few hours from where I currently reside and found this Magnolia Champaca variety.

Ah, the scent, the pollens, buds all over, the cool day, the birds, the bees, not so with the butterflies though and so on, and so on...

So yes, it's Spring all over again.
